History

It was in 1974 that GIOACCHINO BARLETTA, 20 years old, buys a small quilting machine and begins his activity in the garage under his home.
His working method and continuous pursuit of perfection leads him soon to collaborate with demanding stylists like ARMANI and ALLEGRI.
The entrance in the firm of his wife ROSANNA in 1979 constitutes a radical change for the quilting factory, that purchases three modern machines and a 500 sq meter workshop.
In 1982 the quilting machines are already eight and TRUSSARDI and VERSACE are added to the client list.

He is awarded official recognition by the MECA, leading firm in the production of quilting  machines, for his contribution to the development of the machines themselves.

In 2007 BARLETTA realizes that the market is weary and continuous line quilting itself is becoming obsolete. Quilting must be rethought in order to supply the client with better service and reduce production time.

That is why he starts evaluating the use of alternative machinery.

The growing contribution of his two children LEONARDO AND PAMELA, leads to the study of how to unite years of experience and the capabilities of new and modern means.

An embroidery machine is purchased and QUILTING BY PATTERN is developed, triggering further growth through new and important clientele acquisition.

This new corporate structure and the substitution of the quilting machines with embroidering machines produces such an increment in turnover that it is necessary to start planning a new 2000 sq meter ultramodern workshop, soon to open.
